Afra® 4015 is Methyl Hydrogen Polysiloxane fluid containing reactive Si H groups and has several outstanding applications.   KEY FEATURES:   Cures to form a durable film Colorless, odorless, Non-Toxic in nature Dilute able with hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, aromatic ketones, ethyl alcohol (99.5%) and higher alcohols. Insoluble in water, methanol or ethanol (96% or less).   APPLICATIONS:   Modification of unsaturated organic compounds such as polyester and methacrylate resins by absorption. As a water repellent and impregnating agent for textiles, paper and leather. Prevents agglomeration and improves free properties of powders such as mica, clay, silica, Dry Chemical Powder for Fire Fighting. Industrial Grade Dimethyl Silicone Fluid     McCoy DM Silicone Fluid is industrial grade silicone fluid. it is clear, low characteristic odor Dimethyl polysiloxane fluids. These fluids are manufactured in the viscosity range from 10 cps to 1000 k cps. In chemical structure Dimethyl silicone fluids are quite different from other fluids having a backbone of silicon‐oxygen linkage. The advantage of this is a linkage much stronger than a typical carbon‐carbon chain and is more resistant to attack by temperature extremes, oxidation, shear stresses and chemicals than other similar organic fluids and also show good dielectric properties. McCoy DM Silicone fluids are soluble in hydrocarbon solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents and low molecular weight aromatic solvents. Smaller quantities of 30 kg and 50 kg are available upon request in HDPE carboys.
