Surgical Skin Graft Blades are 158 mm long, individually wrapped in VCI paper in single peel packets in packs of 10.These blades can be used with Watson, Braithwaite or Cobbett Handles. A convenient number of individual pouches are boxed in a unit carton. The surgical Skin Graft Blades are sterilized by gamma radiation to a minimum dosage of 2.5M Rad and has a shelf life of 5 years. The Skin Graft Blades of 158 mm in size are used in the surgical removal of a patch of healthy skin from one area of the patient’s body, usually the buttocks or inner thigh, which is then transplanted to another. Skin grafts may be recommended for Burns, specific surgeries that may require skin grafts for healing to occur and for areas of prior infection with extensive skin loss.These blades can be used with Watson, Braithwaite or Cobbett Skin Graft Handles.

It consists of a handle and stem, on which is mounted and adjustable roller, for adjusting the thickens of graft, and a blade holder. UsesIt is used for taking split skin grafts used for coverage of raw surface composed of healthy vascularized or clean granulations to obtains healing and limit deformity and disability ProcedureAfter preparing the donor site as in any operative case, the limp is held firmly by the assistant. The surgeon places a wooden board just in front of the skin grafting knife as shown in figure.
