This fluid has an excellent spreading property and provides a thin uniform oily protective film. It can be applied by dipping, spraying or electrostatic blade coater. The oil film provides excellent protection in acid fume environment.Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor : These oils are under development.

Quenching oils are also known as Heat Treatment oil. These oils are used to quench ( cooling ) hot components ( mainly ferrous ) at a desired and controlled environment to achieve certain molecular structure, which will exhibit predetermined properties or qualities.In a simple word the quenching process is a process where the hot components are dipped in a quenching oil bath for a certain period of time to achieve a desired surface quality of the component.Quenching oils are classified asI.Fast Quenching oilII.Medium quenching oilIII.Slow quenching oildepending upon the cooling rates of the grade which can be ascertained by the cooling curve of the particular grade.The grades in Express range are as follows:I.Express MQ 18 – This is a Fast quenching oil with cooling rate up to 16 sec.II.Express MQ 27 – This is a medium quenching oil with cooling rate up to 20 sec.III.Express MQ 36 – This is a slow quenching oil with cooling rate up to 35 sec.The above grades performance are as per IS: 2664-1980.  

These Neat Cutting Oils are deliver Extreme Pressure and Weld Load bearing capability apart from lubricity and cooling to the work piece and tool. Some of these oils contain additives which are active type and corrosive to yellow metal while some are designed for soft yellow metals.Following are the types of Neat Cutting oils:i) NC 103/170: Active type, Low to Medium Viscosity : EXPRESS NC 103/170 are low to medium viscosity dark brown oil containing active sulfur, chlorine and oiliness additives. These products are recommended for gear cutting, hobbing, thread cutting, deep hole drilling operations where temperature between metal surfaces reach equal to weld temperature. These products are not recommended for use on cuprous metals.Performance : IS 3065, Type 3 ii) NC 100: Non Active, Low Viscosity : EXPRESS NC 100 is light red colored highly refined, low viscosity mineral oil compounded with blend of high quality fatty oils. This product provides very good cooling properties under high speed conditions. It is ideally suited for Honing Operations of steel liners and super-finishing operations even on hardened metals and also flat Honing operation. These grades are non staining and non corrosive to Cuprous metals.Performance : IS 3065, Type 2 iii) NC 150 : Non Active, Medium Viscosity : EXPRESS NC 150 contains high oiliness additives and is recommended for general machining on ferrous and non- ferrous metals.
