The ‘Speedage’ thruster is electro hydraulic device to apply pressure or actuate lever mechanism of brake arrangement. The thruster cylinder accommodates a centrifugal pump and a piston with two push-rods extending outside through thruster cover and transmitting effort to the brake. The robust design Thrustor unit is compact and has long life and is easy to maintain. Main components used are of high quality cast iron and steel. The Thruster is operated by an integral three phase squirrel cage motor.         The device has the following advantages: 1.        Constant Pressure 2.        Gentle Application and release of brake without jerks and shocks. 3.        Larger number of switching-in operations per hour (up to 600). The rated stroke of each type of thruster can be changed, retaining the same attractive force, by means of sleeves fitted on the rods (inside the body) (this arrangement is possible with models from ST 535 and above)

The new range of Limit Switch has been designed and manufactured for use on reversing drives such as hoists, winches, rolling mills etc. It is compact in design and can be easily accommodated and installed on electric hoists, where space constrains are there.The driving motion is transmitted by worm gear. All gears and hubs are made of low wear thermoplastics. The rotational movements are transmitted to switches by adjustable cams.

The Receiver of the system contains 9 potential free contact relays (7 + Start + Alarm) which can be configured as per the requirement. The Receiver also contains a feedback module which continuously monitors the internal circuitry and enables the user to check the Receiver status via LED on the Receiver. Operated with 2AA size batteries and modular design of the system makes it easy to maintain.

Deadman’s control : This consists of one auxillary contact of two circuit block (1 NO+ 1 NC) operated through a spring loaded push button provided on joystick handle in case of operator looses the grip over button during operation, motion will come to stop as main contactor will be de-energised. Spring Return arrangenment : The master / cam controller can be provided with spring return arrangement whereby handle returns to the neutral position when it is released. Dual Master Controller   “Speedage” Twin master controller with one universal handle allows a crane operator to operate both bridge and trolley motions with one handle. Simultaneous operation of bridge and trolley motions provides greater spotting accuracy and faster movement of loads. The handle of joystick can be moved into any quadrant and any position within that quadrant. By controlling both motions simultaneously the operator is free to devote more attention to controlling the hoist motion with is other hand.

Speedage” make Rotary geared type Limit Switches are used on control and power circuit of reversing drives so as to limit their rotation/movement within a predetermined position. The function of the Limit Switch is to stop the mechanism or drive at the extreme forward / reverse position. The limit switches are particularly suited for use on reversing drives such as hoist, winches, rolling mechanisms used in steel plants such as coke ovens, feeding machinery, valve drives etc. The Geared type Rotary Limit Switch basically consists of heavy duty worm gear drive with a ratio of 48:1 or 60:1. the worm gear unit is built in a sturdy cast aluminium housing which is fitted on the main body of the Limit Switch, covered with dust tight gasket in cast aluminium enclosure. The limit switches are made in IP 54 enclosure with cast Aluminium cover duly machined surfaces to protect against dust and dirt

The limit switch normally remains closed and cuts off power to stop the motor of the crane. The Lever limit switch operates when it reaches a predetermined position when the lever is moved over a projecting member fixed on the girder. The series limit switch is fitted with four sets of contacts which cuts off two phases of the motor in either direction and is suitable for 500v.a.c. 50 cyclessec. supply system. The limit switch contacts are automatically reset when the lever returns to zero position due to spring action.

The Anti-collision Device is a safety device to avoid to collision of two electric overhead traveling cranes working on the same rails. The System works on the principle of retro-reflective infrared waves. It consists of an emitter and sensor module and a special reflector. The emitter emits the infrared waves in the direction of the reflector. The reflector reflects these infrared waves back to the sensor. The sensor senses the presence of these reflected infrared waves and activities an alarm signal and stops/reduces the speed of the cranes. Thus if the two cranes are away from each other then the reflected waves will not reach the sensor and the cranes operate normally. The sensing distance is adjustable between 3 to 10 meters. The anti collision system is specially designed for the crane application and is suitable for the continuous duty. Each set consists of an Emitter/sensor module and a Reflector. For one pair of cranes two sets of anti-collision systems are required
