Electro Hydraulic System
The ‘Speedage’ thruster is electro hydraulic device to apply pressure or actuate lever mechanism of brake arrangement. The thruster cylinder accommodates a centrifugal pump and a piston with two push-rods extending outside through thruster cover and transmitting effort to the brake. The robust design Thrustor unit is compact and has long life and is easy to maintain. Main components used are of high quality cast iron and steel. The Thruster is operated by an integral three phase squirrel cage motor. The device has the following advantages: 1. Constant Pressure 2. Gentle Application and release of brake without jerks and shocks. 3. Larger number of switching-in operations per hour (up to 600). The rated stroke of each type of thruster can be changed, retaining the same attractive force, by means of sleeves fitted on the rods (inside the body) (this arrangement is possible with models from ST 535 and above)

Anti Collision Devices
The Anti-collision Device is a safety device to avoid to collision of two electric overhead traveling cranes working on the same rails. The System works on the principle of retro-reflective infrared waves. It consists of an emitter and sensor module and a special reflector. The emitter emits the infrared waves in the direction of the reflector. The reflector reflects these infrared waves back to the sensor. The sensor senses the presence of these reflected infrared waves and activities an alarm signal and stops/reduces the speed of the cranes. Thus if the two cranes are away from each other then the reflected waves will not reach the sensor and the cranes operate normally. The sensing distance is adjustable between 3 to 10 meters. The anti collision system is specially designed for the crane application and is suitable for the continuous duty. Each set consists of an Emitter/sensor module and a Reflector. For one pair of cranes two sets of anti-collision systems are required
