Sure-Seal (black) EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) nonreinforced membranes are available in standard 45-, 60- and 90-mil thicknesses. Membrane widths up to 50' and lengths to 200' which result in less rooftop seaming for large projects. Custom sizes may be requested. Fully-Adhered Systems utilizing EPDM require mechanical or adhesive attachment of the insulation and bonding of the membrane to the insulation with the recommended adhesive. Ballasted designs incorporate a loose-laid insulation and membrane and the use of ballast or pavers as securement. TPO MEMBRANE SYSTEMS Sure-Weld Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof membranes are not adversely affected by most common materials and chemicals encountered in a roof environment. Since the field seam is heat welded, it is as resistant to chemicals as the base sheet. The best course of action to take if unusual substances will contact the membrane, is to evaluate their effect on the membrane in the laboratory. Carlisle SynTec's Laboratory is equipped to perform this testing, interpret the results, and provide a recommendation. APP MEMBRANES STP has the largest range of Atactic Polypropylene modified bitumen membranes which include: Super Thermolay : It has a multilayered design consisting of a 160 gsm polyester core coated with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified bitumen and finally finished with thermo fusible polyethylene film.Aqua Shield : It has a multilayered design consisting of a 160 gsm fiberglass core coated with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified bitumen and finally finished with thermo fusible polyethylene film.Super Thermolay MT and Aqua Shield MT : These have mineral/slated finished as a top surface.Self Adhesive Membranes : It consists of self adhesive SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) rubber/bitumen compound covered on the top side with high density cross laminated polyethylene film and on the underside with an easy-to-peel silicon film.

Coal Tar Enamel Plastisized Pitch is a coal tar based, hot-pour, pipe coating material prepared by digesting bituminous coal in a solution of pitch & high boiling coal tar distillate modified by inert material filler. This is generally known as Coal Tar Enamel in the coating industry.  Outerwrap STP Outerwrap is a reinforced glass fiber mat uniformly impregnated and coated with a Plasticised Pitch compatible material.  Coal Tar Tape Pipewrap is a hot applied coal tar tape system, especially suited for site-wrapping on water, gas and oil pipelines besides being one of the most effective solutions for refurbishment, repair and maintenance of existing pipelines.  COAL TAR EPOXY Shalipoxy CTE is a self-priming, two component coal tar epoxy thermo setanti-corrosive caoting system. Shalipoxy CTE is inexpensive and has considerably more llex (elongation) and bend when compared with other exposive. It withstands temprature and solvent. It provides excellent abrassion resistance, is black in color, and is used to protect steel, concrete, timber and other structures in corrosive enviroment arising out of their regular contact with water/ high moisture. Shalipoxy CTE has ability to bond with oil substances unlike other epoxies.

SEJ BOARDS SHALITEX EXPANSION JOINT BOARD is manufactured from water resistant, bitumen impregnated, cane fibre Softboards. It is available in a wide range of sizes, both as boards & strips in thicknesses of 12mm, 18mm & 25mm. SHALITEX EXPANSION JOINT BOARD displays excellent resistnace to compression, with outstanding recovery characteristics. The boards are environment friendly as opposed to the environment destroying thermocole/plastic expansion joint boards. Softboard is usually made from bagasse. Bagasse is converted to pulp either by wet grinding on abrasive stone, rotating at high speed. Unwanted impurities are removed and several refining and screening stages are included in the manufacturing process to make the pulp thin and fine. The thin pulp produced by the above process is mixed with a small percentage of sizing additives and is fed on to a forming machine consisting mainly of a long conveyor belt. Here most of the water is drained, sucked and pressed out of the pulp. A continuous strip of wet board so made is rolled to thickness cut into lengths and passed through the drying chambers. The dried board thus coming out is the final softboard which is trimmed and cut into standard sizes.
