Formalin LM 42 is an aqueous solution of formaldehyde. The product is clear and colourless and has a pungent, irritating odour.   Applications : Formaldehyde is a very reactive chemical and its main use is as a chemical intermediate and building block in the chemical industry. It is widely used in the production of UF, MF and phenolic resin production. Other major areas of use are in the production of BDO and MDI as well in the production of polyoxymetylene and polyalcohol’s.   Delivery forms : Heated tank trucks Storage : Use insulated storage tank with constant heating and agitation. The lowest recommended storage and transport temperature is 45oC.
