Double walled inside made of thick Anodized Aluminum/Stainless Steel and outside made of Mild steel and painted in Epoxy Powder Coating. The gap of 75mm between two walls is filled with pure mineral wool. Synthetic rubber gasket is provided on the door for better grip. Heating Elements are placed in ribs at the bottom and sides. Adjustable air ventilators are placed near the top of the sides. Built in Horizontal “L” shaped thermometer 0 to 250 º C. is also provided. The temperature is controlled by a Precision Thermostat from few ºC above ambient to 250 º C with sensitivity of plus minus 1 º C. Supplied complete with two pilot lamps , thermostat, perforated shelves adjustable at any level having arrangement to fit the automatic Timer to work on 220/230 volts A.C. cord and plug.

Determination of various physical characteristics of different materials and products at elevated temperatures may be carried out by heating the test specimens to the appropriate temperature inside a constant temperature air oven and determining the required characteristics with the specimens kept under the same temperature. For this purpose the equipment needed for conducting the determination can either be kept inside the oven along with the test specimens, or, if this is not feasible because of certain constrains, by taking the heated specimens out from the oven and conducting the test in still air within the shortest possible span of time.
