Polyester Coatings have excellent chemical and mechanical stability, high filling capacity and high resistance to removal and shrinkage. These products are used either as base coats or as exceptionally brilliant top coats for wood surfaces after specific sanding, brushing and polishing processes. Because of the high solid content, these products are particularly recommended for closed pore cycles and modern furniture coating. If suitably sanded and polished, it is possible to obtain high gloss pigmented or transparent wet look topcoats. Direct gloss polyester base coats, also known as polyester base coats, do not contain paraffin. These base coats allow easier manual sanding as compared to polyurethane primers. They differ from the latter because of their high solid content; allowing higher filling capacity and fewer applications. Polyester base coats, being particularly resistant to shrinkage and removal, are recommended for closed pore cycles, both clear and pigmented, and are ideal for kitchen and bathroom coatings. Their high thixotrophy makes them also suitable for painting shaped items, even upright structures.

Wood Grain PU 1 K Exterior Wood Finish is a single pack Polyurethane modified wood finish which gives a clear smooth finish & not only preserves & protect wood from normal wear & tear but also has good scratch , water & UV resistance . It is good for exteriors & great for interiors.Sand the surface with emery paper no.180 followed by 320 & wipe clean .Apply Wood Grain filler using muslin cloth or putty knife .Remove excess filler & allow drying for 2-3 hours .Filled surface should be sanded with emery paper no. 180 followed by 320. Repeat filling operation if necessary.For best results apply 2-3 coat of Wood Grain PU 1 K Exterior Wood Finish at an interval of 24 hours. Sand with emery paper 320 between coats & wipe clean to remove loose dust particles.
