Azadirachtin Technical is the most potent tetranortriterpenoid isolated till date from Neem Seeds. It, together with other limonoids present in neem seeds has proven to be very effective against more than 300 insect species as antifeedant, repellent and as an insect growth regulator at the same time not affecting the life cycles of beneficial insects like honey bees, spiders and butterflies. Azadirachtin is perhaps the only substance presently available which does not build resistance in insects. Selanin a powerful repellant and Nimbin, whose photo-degradation properties have been established as having IGR effect. Azadirachtin provides a broad-spectrum pest control for fruits, vegetables and plantation crops, greenhouses, turf,outdoor ornamentals and agricultural crops such as sugarcane, paddy, cotton and tea. Azadirachtin based pesticides are versatile; easily biodegradable, leaving no toxic residues and thereby keeping the environment clean and safe. It is a yellowish powder extracted from the Neem Seed Kernels and is used for preparing end products (Neem Insecticides) for the management of agriculturally important pests, after extracting neem oil. Stability It is stable at cool temperature in the absence of water & light. It is found to be stable in organic solvents for at least twelve months under ambient conditions. Bioactivity It acts as a broad spectrum bio pesticide controlling more than 300 species of insect/ pests including caterpillars, beetles, whiteflies, leafhoppers, aphids, mites, thrips, borer, leaf folders and many more. Mode of Action In insects, it exhibits various behavioral responses such as Antifeedant. Feeding Deterrent, Oviposition Deterrent etc., and physiological responses such as Insect Growth Regulator, Molting Inhibitor, Reproduction Inhibitor, Antifertility etc. Toxicology >It is non-toxic to Rats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs. It has no significant effect on Birds. It is non -toxic at recommended rates to Aquatic Organisms. Also it is relatively harmless to non-target and beneficial organisms. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying. Symptoms Of Poisoning Nervousness, anxiety, tremor, convulsions, skin allergies, sneezing, running nose and irritation may occur. First Aid If swallowed, do not induce vomiting or give liquid orally. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water. If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air. GOLDMECTIN (Emamectin benzoate 1.9% EC) is a water-soluble liquid formulation containing 1.9% active ingredient and is recommended for the control of bollworms in Cotton; Leaf folder & hispa on Paddy; Green semilooper, Pod borer, Girdle beetle and Tobacco caterpillar on Soybean; pod borer on Checkpea; fruit borer & thrips on Chilli. It is an insecticide with stomach action and should be ingested by the larvae to be most effective. Affected larvae become paralyzed and stop feeding shortly after exposure to Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC and subsequently die after 2-4 days.
