Constructed by Honeywell Elster Kromschroder, these devices are gas and air ratio controls. They help machines keep a consistent pressure ratio around 1:1. This allows for constant control of the GIK. The GIK B has a control feature that fluctuates between high, low, and off. These are all certified and type tested by the EC. They have a DN of between 15 and 150. These particular devices are constructed with either flange or thread connections. They have a pe that reaches its maximum at 200 mbar. The pL of these controls ranges from 0.5 to 120 mbar and the pG ranges from 0.2 to 119 mbar. The ?p measures at a maximum of 100 mbar.

A pressure regulator is a valve that automatically cuts off the flow of a liquid or gas at a certain pressure. Air-Gas Ratio Regulators gives constant air gas ratio at all the firing rates. It is used over a wide range of firing rates both in premix and nozzle mix gas burner systems. In case of Premix burners, the vent is open to atmosphere then the regulator can be used as an atmospheric regulator i.e. Zero governor and supplies the gas to the premix burner. In case of nozzle mix burners, the vent of the regulator is cross connected to the main air line downstream of the control valve. In that case, the regulator outlet pressure is equal to air impulse pressure and the gas remains proportional to air flow at all the firing rates. In premix burners and nozzle mix burners, separate regulator for each burner is preferred to avoid interference or interaction.
