The assembly is heated to a temperature where the cladding material melts and the parent material does not. iLabot atmosphere furnaces are designed to work with Nitrogen and Argon inert gases at temperature range 1200°C and 1600°C. These units can protect samples from oxidation and decarburization with flowing nitrogen, argon and other inter gases; therefore, they are considered a good choice for sintering under inert-atmosphere and used widely in laboratories, R&D centers and light industrial applications.
