Indico uses flat braided copper flexible connectors in transmitting current across conducting mediums which are subjected to different motions caused by thermal expansion, vibration or operational movement etc. These flexible connectors are widely used in electrical distribution, switchgear and automobile industries providing maximum conductivity and minimum millivolt drop maintaining excellent flexibility. Indico manufactures flexible connectors in the range of 1 mm² to 4000 mm² with range up to 4000 Amps and supplies it by using bare copper or tinned or silver plated braided/stranded wires with end terminals also either in Bare Copper or tinned or silver plated according to the requirements of the customer. Braided Flexible connectors are manufactured from thin Copper braided tapes with a single wire diameter of 0.070.20 mm bare, tin or silver coated. Standard flexibles are non insulated but on request it is possible to deliver the connectors with insulation tubes. The contact areas are assembled with solderless pressed copper connectors bare and on request tin or silver coated. The advantage of the solderless pressing process is that only material of same analysis and same conductivity is being connected which is not the case if tin or welding which are additionally used.
