The CIRAS-4 DC is a lightweight, robust instrument with a rugged aluminum and polyurethane enclosure making it an ideal instrument for both field and lab. It uses the same high performance, differential CO2 and H2O gas analyzer used in our popular CIRAS-4 Portable Photosynthesis System designed for high level leaf gas exchange research. Our innovative “Auto Zero” measurement principle ensures long term stability and accuracy of both CO2 and H2O which is a significant advantage over “gas switching” systems. The gas analyzers include an infrared source, highly polished and gold plated sample cells and specially selected detectors optimized for CO2 and H2O. The optical bench is temperature controlled and pressure compensated ensuring the most accurate CO2 and H2O measurements under changing ambient conditions.

The EC9820 Carbon Dioxide Analyser , developed and manufactured by Ecotech in Australia, combines microprocessor control with NDIR gas filter correlation photometry detection to measure CO2 with minimal interference from CO and H2O The CO2 concentration is automatically corrected for gas temperaturepressure changes and can be displayed in units of ppm or mgm3. The EC9820 allows for a manual, timed or remote initiated zerospan calibrations. the s157 co2 analyzer is a single channel non-dispersive infrared co2 analyzer that measures co2 in 0 to 2000 ppm range with 1 ppm resolution. This co2 analyzer is ideal for co2 exchange measurements with leaves, insects, small animals or organisms with a low metabolic rate. It is also excellent for measuring soil respiratory activity in the lab and field. The analyzer may be used in a flow-through gas exchange configuration for instantaneous and continuous measurements of co2 exchange. It can also be used in stop flow or closed system modes for measurements at extremely low activity levels. The s157 co2 analyzer shares the same infrared technology and modular design as the s158 co2 analyzer. The s157 co2 analyzer may also be used as part of qubit systems’ carbon dioxide control system for regulating pco2 in growth cabinet.
