They are manufactured in different sizes to meet a wide range of requirements.GMT Box Angle Plates are made of close -grained cast iron IS 210, Grade 20 and hardness is guaranteed to be above 180-BHN. They are artificially seasoned as recommended in IS 6232:1971. To meet varied job requirements, the plates are offered in two grades, Grade-I and Grade-II. Grade-I plates are very carefully hand scraped on all the working surfaces to accuracies conforming to Grade-I limits as per IS 6232: 1971. Grade-II plates are finish machined on all working surfaces to accuracies conforming to Grade-II limits as per IS 6232: 1971.GMT Box Angle Plates are provided with suitable number of T-Slots on working surfaces to facilitate clamping. T-Slot dimensions conform to IS 2013:1962.

JASH Cast Iron Box Angle Plate serves as a versatile tool for layout machine set – ups, tooling and inspection. They can also be used as right angles and squares. A job can be fixed with one of its faces and rotated in five positions without the need for repositioning or disturbing accuracy. They can easily be made into special fixtures by providing tenons, pins or stops. Matched pairs can be used as Parallels and Height Blocks. Salient Features Made generally as per IS: 6232. Made from close grained plain cast iron conforming to grade FG 220 of IS 210 (equivalent to GG20 / FT20 / 30-A). Higher grades also offered on request. Castings stress relieved to relieve internal stresses. Offered in two grades of accuracies – Grades -1 & 2 in standard sizes as stated in table. Hand - scraped surface finish for Grade 1 accuracies. Hand scraped / ground finish for Grade 2 accuracies. Machined T-Slots on one face and cored as – cast slots on four opposite faces provided to facilitate clamping. Can be offered in matched pairs, upon request at extra cost. Precision Box Angle Plates to IS: 6985 having tolerances approximately half of those mentioned in table made upon request. Other sizes as per customer's specific requirement also offered, upon special request.
