Chlorine Evaporator Dealers

The Evaporators that we offer is segregated into two cubicles; the Inner Cubicle and the Outer Cubicle. Chlorine liquid is shifted directly from the source to the inner cubicle through the container pressure. The Inner Cubicle is immersed in a temperature regulated steam bath that enhances the temperature of chlorine making it to boil and vaporize. The Chlorine liquid enters the inner cubicle and keeps the needed level required to meet the vaporization rate for gas demand. Automatically, a shift in gas demand will make the chlorine liquid level to adjust. The gas thus produced is superheated as it travels through series of baffles while leaving the cubicle. Normally, a superheated gas is needed to check the re-liquefaction of chlorine in the process lines.

Are used wherever the rate of unaided chlorine gas withdrawal from multiple containers is not fast enough to keep up with consumption requirement. The main function of the evaporator is to convert liquid chlorine into gas chlorine form.It is an electrically heated immerse tank type heat exchanger. The unit has adequate controls & safety function for operation. Level in the water bath tank is maintained by solenoid which controls make up water flow. The thermostat maintains hot water temperature. The evaporating chamber and water tank are cathodicaly protected. The electric water heater is immersed in to water bath tank assuring uniform distribution of heat. The Evaporators are available in various capacity ranges considering rate of withdrawal of gas.

Chlorine is used in various industries for diversified applications. Chlorine is generally stored in liquid form in Ton containers or Cylinders. Generally, Chlorine gas withdrawal rates from these containers do not exceed the vaporization rate (normally it is 7 to 11 kgshr at around 28 deg Celsius ). Evaporators are used where large quantity of chlorine gas is required.
