Description: IA make MUTINY is a STEAM OPERATED CONDENSATE PUMP. Simple in construction and operated by steam, these are highly economical and energy efficient pumps for pumping of hot condensate practically at 100° C. The pump is available as a complete package with condensate collection tank, interconnecting piping with strainer, isolating valve, disc check NRV at inlet and disc check valve at outlet. It is also provided with the motive steam inlet connections complete with isolating valve, steam trap and piping. Condensate inlet to tanks and the condensate outlet of the pump are provided with flanged connections. Available Sizes : 25NB, 40NB, 50NB and 80 x 50NB.

Condensate Pumps Condensate Pumps are used to collect and transport condensate back into a steam system for reheating and reuse, or to remove unwanted condensate from an HVAC or appliance collection pan.There are two basic types of condensate pumps: boiler feed pumps and sump pumps. Recovery of condensate reduces Fuel Consumption significantly by increasing the feed water temperature. Water charges: Any Condensate Recovery Pump not returned needs to be replaced by fresh water, increasing the fresh water requirement of the plant & its chemical treatment cost. Reduction in ETP load: Hot Condensate Recovery Pump drained is taken to the ETP which increases the load on ETP. This can be avoided by complete condensate recovery pump. Maximizing boiler output: As per F & A rating of boiler, hotter the feed water temperature higher will be the steam output from boiler. Reduction in Blow down Loss: Condensate is pure water, which contains almost no total dissolved solids (TDS). Returning more condensate to the feed-tank reduces the need for blow-down & thus reduces the energy lost from the boiler.
