They are spacially designed to cut stainless steel with minimum cutting loads. This ensures longer tool life.   nct chasers for chasing grooves in segments/rolls are also made from m 15 steel and manufactured to the exacting standards required by the tea industry. These are available with 6tpi,8 tpi or 10 tpi in"u" and "v" profiles.   optimum combination of microstructure, grain size and hardness are ensured in heat treatment for durable performance. On specific demand, cutter / chasers are also made from aisi m-2 / m-35 / m-42 and others hss grades of customer’s choice.
