The crane is mounted on a base designed to be stood on a level bench. Both the jib and tie include spring balances for measuring the internal forces. A load is hung from the end of the jib. Re-adjustment of the crane geometry back to its original unloaded layout is possible by a knurled adjuster on the jib and adjusting the links of the chain. Rational structure i e boom, Central mast and refers are made out of Heavy duty structural steel frame work duly stress relived. The base of central mast is fixed to the winch assembly which in turn rotates on specially designed Thrust Bearing anchored to the Central Foot by means of bolts grouted in Concrete Foundation of rock. The winch assembly comprises of special crane duty motor connected to helical speed reducers and reduction gear box dipped oil bath and gear meshed are coupled up to a grooved steel drum. Electro hydraulic brakes are used to central the smooth lifting of weight. The winch assembly rotates on specially designed thrust bearing by mean of multiple step down gears built into the winch foot. Wire rope is of 6 x 37 construction 16mm in dia. Electric operations are controlled with Push Button Control unit Independent from the position of winch assembly. Limit Switches for Rotation Boom lowering lifting & load lowering and lifting are provided to ensure accident free operation.

The structure consists of central mast , jib and tie beams (rafters) formed by angles in a lattice structure. The top of mast consists of a vertically rotating journal and tie for connecting the rafters the bottom of mast consists of winch unit on a trolley which is fixed through a vertically rotating journal with a thrust bearing resting on central base which is anchored to the ground through a set of foundation botts. The winch unit consists of two sets of drives for lowering and moving up the jib and moving the load. The winch's load lifting and jib moving function are independent and can be operated simultaneously with electrohydraulic thrustor brakes for braking function. The rotation is in corporated through a pinion driven by gearbox and motor and supported on bearings. The movement is achieved through a set of pulleys and a double J forged hook for load lifting. The cranes are built of high quality steel structure to achieve good performance over a long period.
