Vanguard Jr.® pumps provide two-speed high performance in a light-weight, compact package. Gauge port provided on pump. Metal reservoir on all models. Equipped with a 1⁄2 hp (0,37 kW), 115 volt, 60/50 Hz single phase motor that starts under load, even at reduced voltage. Low amperage draw permits use with smaller generators and low amperage circuits. All pumps have a 10 foot (3 m) remote control (PE183C has 25 foot (7,6 m) remote control). CSA rated for intermittent duty. Noise level of 85-90 dBA. For operating hydraulic crimping, cutting or other tools: No. PE183C – For crimping or pressing applications. Has special electrical circuitry to pulse/advance, hold at full pressure, build to a predetermined pressure, release and reset circuit. Features separate emergency return switch. Double acting plunger pump is plunger type dosing pump which the working fluid acts alternately on both sides of the piston. This is one that, as it fills one end of the liquid chamber, is discharging liquid from the other end of the chamber. On the return stroke, the end of the chamber just emptied is filled, and end just filled is emptied. Each stroke of the piston fills one chamber and empties another, which nearly doubles the flow rate over a single-acting plunger pump. It also smooth in the flow and the basic principal of operation will be identical. This pump can be used for high precision injections with pulse rates of ±1%.
