Normally to power a conveyor belt, one has to use the conventional drive which comprises of head pulley which has to be coupled to a gearbox and the gearbox in turn has to be coupled to a motor and then there are other accessories like guard, chains, plumber blocks etc. Instead of this elaborate system, a drum motor can be put in place of the head pulley, and powered up.

In Planetary Type Drum Motors, Motor is Inside the Drum and Motor Stator is Stationary Permiting Direct Connection of Power Cable to Motor Terminals Eleminating Need of Slip Rings, It Can be Supplied with or without Lagging.

Our drum motors range is from Fractional HP to 200 HP and diameter wise minimum 80 mm to highest we have manufacture and supplied to steel plant is 950 mm diameter. Our drum motors are made from seemless pipe and its gear section is either of planetary or helical design.

We are offering the cv series gear units have gear distribution in three stages. These are available in six sizes of different speed ranges with a lifting load of 0.5 to 50 tonnes. The uni-case housing of the gearbox is made of cast iron (grade gg-20). Cv series gear units are designed for double-and single-speed brake motors.
