Double Cone Flap valves are used for controlled feeding as well as achieving air lock sealing. These valves consist of two independent Cone Flap valves mounted one upon other with their opening and closing alternated and synchronized to ensure that only one valve opens at a time. DEMECH manufacture these valves to suit the opening sizes and required through-put rate. The through-put of these valves depend on the holding volume of the upper valve chamber and the rate of operations.

Double Flap Valve allows material to flow, while preventing the back flow of air or gas that is critical in many conveying systems. These devices are commonly used wherever dry solids need to be moved between areas of differing air pressure, including ash handling. Typical Double Flap Valve equipment applications include drop-out box hoppers, Dust Collectors, Bag Houses, Precipitators and screw conveyors. Double Flap Valves can handle material like Fly Ash, Sawdust, Lime, Cement, Clinker, Sinter and sand. Other types of material can be collected as long as they are granular, not sticky and flow freely by gravity. This Flap Valve can be motorized, pneumatic & gravity operated.

HI-TECH valve consists of two flaps connected by counterweights or spring loaded spindles, which are operated by means of a motor driven cam. The cam alternately opens each flap allowing materials to pass through the separate chambers in batch form and thereby ensuring a gas seal.

Flap valves are used at the exit end of the discharge pipeline of a pumping system where water is pumped from a river / reservoir to a canal. The purpose is to prevent the back flow of water from the canal having high silt or foreign material flowing back into the discharge pipeline of pump, when the pump trips. The flap of the valve is designed in such a way that  It opens with the working pressure of the pump and also due to the moment exerted by the dead weight arrangement which is provided on the same shaft where the flap of the valve is located / supported. The valve closes automatically when the pump trips.     The non - slam hydraulic arrangement is attached to the lever of the dead weight, which helps the valve close without a slam.   Salient Features of Our Flap Valves   The valve body is designed to a much higher-pressure rating than required for rigidity. The valve body is also provided with the supporting feet arrangement. Full-length shaft of adequate diameter is provided to ensure trouble free working of the valve The flap of the valve is designed in such a way that it opens with the minimum pressure. For easy opening and closing the torque values are kept to the minimum. 'C' type seal arrangement to have a double point sealing.
