ADVANTAGES ⦁ For fixing tiles & natural stone on interior floor & wall. ⦁ Single component – Just add water ⦁ Water & Shock Resistant  ⦁ Polymer-modified Bonds with various substrates.  Coverage Details (per 20kg bag:) Packaging: 20 kg Colour: Grey & White Installation Guide for ASTRIC™ ASTABLISS To achieve a successful installation of very large format/thin tiles, follow these recommendations: ⦁ Proper surface preparation ⦁ Proper material mixing & application ⦁ Use of an edge-leveling system ⦁ Beating of the tile into the mortar bed using a rubber mallet Surface Preparation: ⦁ Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, clean, and free of dirt, oil, grease, loose paint, laitance, concrete sealers, or curing compounds. ⦁ Proper surface preparation is crucial. Remove any demolding wax powder from the back surface of the tile. If a fiber mesh is present on the back surface, ensure it is completely removed before proceeding with the installation using ASTRIC™ ASTABLISS. ⦁ Dry, dusty concrete or masonry surfaces should be moistened, and any excess water should be removed. You can install on a damp surface. New concrete slabs need to be damp-cured and must be 28 days old before applying.  Material Preparation & Application: Mixing Procedure: ⦁ Place clean, potable water into a clean mixing bowl. Add ASTRIC™ ASTASUN Super Flex powder. Use approximately 5.5–6 L of water for 20 kg of powder. Mix with a low-speed paddle drill to achieve a smooth, paste-like consistency. Let the mixture stand for 5-10 minutes, then stir again before use. Stir occasionally without adding more water. Properly mixed, troweled ridges should stand without slump. Mixing Ratios: ⦁ Mix 5.5-6 L of clean water with a 20 kg bag of mortar.

Project packing of 40 kg size is available on demand Shelf Life: Factory sealed bags are best before 12 months from the date of manufacturing in unopened condition stored in dry area How to Apply : Add 25 kg of “MYMIX‐FTA (Floor Tile Adhesive)” to approx. 6.5 litres. To 7.5 litres. Of cool and clean tap water and stir properly for 5 minute by hand or an electric stirrer to get a smooth and homogeneous mixture After stirring wait for 10 minutes, stir once again and apply the adhesive on the subfloor with the recommended adhesive notch trowel Press the tiles within 15 to 20 minutes with a shuffling movement in to the adhesive. Check regularly to ensure that the back of the tile is in full contact with the adhesive. Remove excess adhesive immediately from the joints The proper preparation of the surface will make the fixing easier and quicker ensuring a better finish. The surface should be flat with a tolerance of 4mm over a distance of 2 meters. It is essential that you waterproof wet areas prior to tiling. New concrete is recommended to be 1 month old for every 25mm thickness and completely dried before tiling. Under normal circumstances, i.e. a temperature of 20° C and a relative humidity of 65%, the joints may be filled after minimum 24 hours.
