Guar gum is used in beverages for thickening and viscosity control because of its several inherent properties. The important property of guar gum is its resistance to breakdown under low pH conditions present in beverages. Guar gum is soluble in cold water which makes it easy to use in beverage processing plants.

Guar gum meal is a by-product obtained after extracting guar gum from guar seeds. It is primarily used as a protein-rich feed for animals. The meal contains high levels of residual gum, making it valuable for livestock nutrition, especially in cattle, poultry, and aquaculture feed. There are two types of guar meal: korma (high-protein content) and churi (fiber-rich), both of which are excellent sources of protein, energy, and fiber for animal diets. Properties High protein content : Rich in proteins, especially guar korma, which makes it ideal for livestock feed. High fiber content : Guar churi is fiber-rich, aiding in digestion for animals Cost-effective : Provides an economical source of protein and fiber for animal nutrition. Energy-dense : Offers a significant energy boost, supporting the growth and health of livestock. Palatable : Generally well-accepted by animals due to its taste and texture. Natural and sustainable : A by-product of guar gum processing, making it an environmentally friendly and renewable feed source. Non-toxic : Safe for consumption by cattle, poultry, and other animals, meeting nutritional standards. Digestibility : Easily digestible by livestock, contributing to improved nutrient absorption and overall health.

Modified Guar Gum on offer is available in a wide assortment of varieties. Our distribution network allows us to facilitate quick and convenient delivery in a matter of time at your doorstep. The purity and durability of our product make it an interesting proposition. Details : A hydrophilic polysaccharide from the seed of the guar plant. It is a galactomannan type of saccharide that is highly dispersible into water and brines of various types and salinity. Its water solutions are non-Newtonian and also can be cross-linked by borax to give very high gel strength for suspension. Such a structure is easily broken by breakers in fracturing fluids, so it serves as a carrier for placing sand far back into fractures. It is also used as a top-hole drilling fluid. Disadvantages of using guar gum include its lack of thermal stability and sensitivity to high pH and bacterial fermentation.

Guar Gum has been cultivated in India and Pakistan for ages for use of its tender pods as fresh vegetables and other parts of the plant to be used as cattle feed. When in abundance the pods could also be used as cattle feed. Guar Gum grows well in the semi-arid regions of North-Western India and adjoining areas of Pakistan. Guar Gum is derived from the seeds of the guar plant 'Cyamopsis tetragonalobus' belongs to the family Leguminosae. Guar Gum Powder is a white to yellowish white powder. It is almost odourless and fine powder. Guar Gum is available in different mesh sizes and viscosity. Guar Gum is a natural high molecular weight hydrocolloidal polysaccharide composed of galactose and mannose combined through glycosidic linkages, which may be described chemically as galactomannan. Guar Gum is easily soluble in Cold and Hot water (in colloidal form only). Guar Gum Grades & Specifications: Grades: 1. Guar Splits : 90 - 98% Dehusked splits, Double Refined. 2. India is native of guar or cluster bean where it is used as a vegetable. From hundreds of years Guar has been used as vegetable in India. It is also used as a cattle food, and as a green manure crop in agriculture. Guar gum comes from the endosperm of the seed of the legume plant Cyamopsis tetragonoloba; an annual plant, grown in dry regions of India as a food crop for animals. There are various grades of Guar gums pure or derivative. Guar gum is a white to creamy colored, free flowing powder and free from extraneous matter. Its ability to suspend solids, bind water by hydrogen bonding, control the viscosity of aqueous solutions, form strong tough films have accounted for its rapid growth and use in various industries. For example guar gum is used in paper, textile, oil drilling, mining, explosives, ore flotation and other various industrial applications. The growing season of guar is 14 -16 weeks and requires reasonably warm weather and moderate flashing rainfall with plenty of sunshine. Too much rain can cause the plant to become more 'leafy' resulting thereby reducing the number of pods or the number of seeds per pod which affects the size and yield of seeds. The crop is generally sown after the monsoon rainfall in the second half of July to early August and is harvested in late October early November. The Guar is a naturally rain fed crop. Depending on the monsoon rainfall the total size of Guar crop varies from year to year. After harvesting, when the pods become dry through sunlight, they are beaten off and during this process, the seeds come out of the pods. This polymer is water soluble and exhibits a viscosifying effect in water. Guar gum has a multitude of different applications. Guar gum is economical because it has almost eight times the water-thickening potency of cornstarch - only a very small quantity is needed for producing sufficient viscosity. Thus, it can be used in various multiphase formulations: as an emulsifier because it helps to prevent oil droplets from coalescing, and/or as a stabilizer because it helps to prevent solid particles from settling. In several food and beverages guar gum is used as additive in order to change its viscosity or as fiber source. The main area of cultivation of GUAR GUM in India are Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh , Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh. We supplies in many types and varieties Hydroxy Alkylated Guar gum, Carboxy Methylated Guar gum , Oxidised Guar gum, Acetates of Guar gum, Cationic derivatives of Guar gum, Sulphated Guar gum, Guar gum formate, Guar gum acryl amide, Reticulated Guar gum.
