ALAP duster is a shoulder mounted type of hand rotary duster. This duster is used dusting pesticides in powder form. The Shoulder Mounted Type Hand Rotary Duster consists basically of Blower complete with gear box and hopper joined together by a suction pipe. The duster is designed for comfortable use and has a long life. Construction and Working : The hopper has conical bottom so that the duster contained in it moves towards the feeding aperture. A lid is situated on the top of the Hopper.The dust contained in the Hopper is agitated by an Agitator. It is fixed to oscillator at the end of the Agitator shaft. The dust is picked up into the bristles of the brush and fed into the suction tube in a fine stream.A feed control mechanism with locking device is provided at bottom of the hopper and it is controlled from outside of the suction pipe.A suction pipe fitted at the centre of the fan casing and extended up to rear end of hopper.The fan impeller is covered with a leak proof fan casing. The fan shaft consists of two ball bearings.The gear box is designed as to allow easy access to gears. The gears are accurate and moves smoothlyBreast plate is to rest the duster comfortably.A crank cum Handle is fitted with the crank shaft which operates to a clockwise direction in 35/40 rev /min. and produces efficient performance.
