RAPIDMIX - High Shear Mixer Granulator has been developed for mixing of ingredients as well as wet granulation. The multi-bladed impeller is fitted close to the base of the mixing bowl whereas the chopper is mounted on the wall of the mixing bowl. Both the impeller & the chopper have dual-speed options for gently distributing the binder solution as it is added and creating the vortex of the material being mixed.

The high speed rotation of rotor blades within workhead exerts powerful suction force drawing the liquid and solid materials upwards from bottom of the vessel into centre of workhead and due to centrifugal force they are subjected to milling between ends of rotor blades. The dispersing product is sucked first axially downwards and then radially outwards through the pinned ring stator. Between the stator and rotor pins the product is exposed to a high frequency shearing with a shear rate of up to 7000 per second. Due to the load in defined shear gaps, even agglomerates, which are difficult to disperse, are effectively disintegrated and micro-fine dispersed with highest solids concentration.

High Speed / Shear Mixer :- A high-shear mixer disperses, or transports, one phase or ingredient (liquid, solid, gas) into a main continuous phase (liquid), with which it would normally be immiscible. A rotor or impellor, together with a stationary component known as a stator, or an array of rotors and stators, is used either in a tank containing the solution to be mixed, or in a pipe through which the solution passes, to create shear. A high-shear mixer can be used to create emulsions, suspensions, lyosols (gas dispersed in liquid), and granular products. It is used in the adhesives, chemical, cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical, and plastics industries for emulsification, homogenization, particle size reduction, and dispersion.

Low and High Shear  Blending and Mixing Tanks are available having the Volumetric Capacity of 500 Litres to 5,000 Litres. These Tanks can be single walled or with Dimple Jacket & with or without Insulation followed by Outer shell of SS 304 or MS depending Upon the specific requirement. These vessels are provided with Jet Mixers / Turbine type agitators for mixing, / High Shear Mixer /  Pedal Mixer or Low shear Mixers with scrapper. One can have choice of having these vessels depending upon the requirement of various Food processing technology. Even it is possible to have these Vessels with two speed agitator cum scrapper moving in opposite directions.Provision can be made for two speed mixer. These vessels can also be supplied with Flat / Conical / Dished end bottom and top with loose / fixed cover. In case of Jacketed vessels  the shell  & Bottom are provided with the dimple jacket suitable for circulation of steam / hot / cold water. The dimple jacket Vessels  are tested at 6 bar hence one need not use syphon for draining the liquid in the jacket. these jackets are suitable to work with on line supply of hot / cold water / steam up to a pressure of 4 bar However in case above standard designs are not suitable for particular requirement, one can very well ask to redesign the Vessels  to suit individual requirement.
