Kaolin is a hydrated alumino-silicate having a sheet structure.The general formula of Kaolin is Al2(Si2O5)(OH)4. The ultimate breakdown product of most rock-forming minerals is kaolinite. It is formed through the alteration or kaolinization of feldspar-rich parent rocks by weathering or hydrothermal processes. Free Silica (grit) is the most undesirable impurity and is removed during processing by levigation, sedimentation or air-separation techniques. Using advanced techniques, Kaolin is developed as Super glossy range of quality clay.
