Latch type toggle clamps When closing the spanner, a safety hook positively locks onto the body. This prevents the inadvertent or vibration-induced release from the clamping position. To open the safety hook it is unlocked per one-hand operation. The stroke of the U-bolt latch can be adjusted within its range.

This model is for applications where heavy duty Latch type clamping is required. Clamp base and Latch plate are fabricated out of Solid Steel. Pulling pin is housed in carbon steel bush for extra rigidity. Also available TR model with an added advantage of trigger lock which enables the clamp to remain locked even in conditions of high vibration unless the trigger is pulled.

In Clamps of this type, the handle can be moved to place the clamping U - Bolt type Bar or hook around the opposing latch & pull down to reach the lock position. The clamps can withstand pressures from 150 Kgs to 3500 Kgs. These are designed for applications requiring closure mechanisms such as sealing chambers, doors and mould closures. The threaded "hook" or "U-bolt” type bar offer an adjustment feature.
