Above 7000mmwg water cooled blowers will be supplied, Capacity for KE series Blowers ranges from 60m3hr to 1431m3hr with pressure application from 1000mmwg (0.1kgcm2) to 10000mmwg (1.0kgcm2), Material of construction of the casing and lobes for all blowers in this series is C.I.F.G.-260 conforming to IS: 210, Shaft material from 36AC to 59AC is alloy steel, EN9 (070M55).and above 59AC it is EN24 (817M40) conforming to BS: 970.

It consist of a pair of involute profiled (shape of 8) lobesrotors rotating inside an oval shaped casing which are closed at ends by side plates. One lobe is the driving lobe, driven by the external power, while the driven lobe is driven by a pair of equal ratio gears. Both lobes rotate with same speed in opposite directions. As the rotors rotate, air is drawn into inlet side of the cylinder and forced out of the outlet side against the system pressure. With each revolution, four such volumes are displaced. These are widely demanded for application where there is constant oil free high volume air demand at very low pressure. Rotary Twin Lobe Blowers Compressors follow the well established principle of the roots-type machine. Operation is both simple and effective. Two 8-shaped Rotors Impellers, mounted on parallel shafts and contained within casing rotate in opposite directions. The Shape of the impellers is such that a small accurately gauged clearance is maintained at all times between the impellers and casing. As they rotate, air is drawn in to the space between the impellers and the casing, where it is trapped as the tip of the impellers passes the edge of the inlet opening.

The Two “8” shaped impellers which are mounted on parallel shafts, rotate in opposite direction and with every revolution of the impeller across the compressor inlet, a definite volume of air is trapped and carried across the casing to the compressor outlet where this air is discharged. With a constant speed operation, the displaced volume is essentially the same at a constant pressure,
