These are a must when Double Mechanical seals are recommended for variety of application.The basic function of Thermosyphon pot is offer a counter pressure to the system due to which the seal faces remains intact, brings down the temp. In seal chamber and provides continuous lubrication to seal faces.Improper lubrication of seal faces is the main cause of seal failure. This is because the seal face rubs against each other at very high speeds. Due to this there is a lot of heat generation on and near the seal faces.
