Load Chain : Alloy Steel chain Gr-80 as per IS-6216 uniformly electrically resistance welded duly heat treated for smooth running in chain sprockets. Hooks : Drop forged hooks as per IS-8610 and fitted in upper-arm and bottom block made out of heavy duty, malleable / S.G. Iron casting. Ball Bearings : Chain pulley blocks will have two ball-bearings for smoother running on load. Load Chain Wheel : Load chain wheels are malleably/S.G. Iron casting with accurate chain sprockets for smooth running of chain. Gears : Gear Blanks made out of nickel-chrome alloy steel accurately machined and teeth generated on hobbing machines for involutes corrected for high bending stress and low wear. All gears are hardened and tempered for minimum wear. Electric Motors : Totally enclosed squirrel cage induction motor as per IS-325 specially made for hoist duty with high starting torque and suitable for frequent start/stop. The motor is wound normally in B/F class insulation and suitable for 400/440 volts. 3 phase. 50-Cycle A.C. Supply. Motors are suitable for class-II intermitted duty. Brake : Heavy duty electro-magnetic disc type fail safe 3 phase A.C. Brake is provided. Brakes are spring loaded 'fall-safe' type, it means in case of power failure brakes act immediately. Brakes are easily accessible for adjustment and maintenance. Control Panel : Housed in Sheet metal Box and comprising of following items.   TC/Siemens or equivalent makes forward/Reverse connectors with 110 volts operating coils.
