POT 3250 Passenger Vehicle Engine Oil Additive is a new additive technology designed to meet the latest ILSAC GF-5 and API SN industry requirements as well as the performance demands of the new GM specification in cost-effective formulations. POT 3250 is designed for the manufacture of all ILSAC and non-ILSAC viscosity grades in a wide range of industry basestocks in conjunction with POT 1220 VII improver. POT 3250 already contains a pour point depressant (PPD) and so no supplemental PPD should be necessary in order to meet low temperature properties of any of these grades. POT 3250 can also be used to meet ILSAC GF-5 in an SAE 5W-30 grade using POT 1210 VI improver in selected basestocks to meet the more severe Noack. Recommended Dosage: POT 3250 is used at 10.1% wt. to formulate multi-grade and can also be used for mono-grade engine oils. A wide range of basestocks can be used with this technology. AB-4021 -Super High TBN Synthetic Calcium Sulfonate With heavy alkyl benzene sulfonic acid as a main raw material, super high-based synthetic calcium sulfonate is prepared by neutralization and super high alkalization reaction. The product has excellent alkaline reserve property, good oil solubility and strong acid neutralization capability, and it can immediately neutralize organic acid and inorganic acid in oil; meanwhile it also has excellent high-temperature detergency and thermal stability. Product Description TBN Booster from Parker will raise your diesel engine’s oil TBN number up to 6 points and save 2-4 oil changes per year. TBN stands for Total Base Number. It is a measure of how much active detergent and dispersive additive is left in your engine’s oil. A TBN rating of 6-9 is typical. As miles are added, the TBN number decreases as the detergent and dispersive additives are used up. When TBN less than 5, your oil has lost its effective capacity to neutralize acid and breakdown dirt. TBN Booster was formulated to extend the oil drain intervals of vehicles needing extended service when used in conjunction with our Blue Diamond Engine Oil or other diesel engine oils. TBN Booster can be used with synthetic or conventional engine oils. Many drivers are using bypass engine oil filters to extend the drain interval of the engine oil. The engine oil is kept clean but the additives are depleted. Adding TBN Booster will resolve this issue. It will provide the engine oil the additives to effectively neutralize the acid and disperse the soot.
