Front surface of the mount is plane. Optics can be fixed to the front surface of the mount by adhesive. Plane mirrors are available in two types. One type will have translation in addition to tilting. This type of mount will have three lead screws. Two of them for tilting and third one for translation.

  Mounts are kinematically designed for independent orthogonal movements. Two micrometers/set screws reading up to 0.01mm will facilitate precision movement in X & Y direction.
