This liquid formulation @ 3mg is loaded in silicon rubber septa, which is placed in traps in the field.Application Protocol :Place the Lure/Dispenser in the funnel /sleeve trap or moth trap and place the trap at various locations in the field just above the canopy level of the crop. Recommended to use one lure of Helicoverpa armigera per trap. One Helicoverpa armigera lure would last upto 30-45 days depending upon climatic conditions. The trapping density should be adequate to manage pest infestation. The recommended trap density is 40-50 traps per hectare for mass trapping and 8-10 traps per hectare for monitoring.Packing :Helicoverpa armigera lure is packed in a metalized triple layer pouch.Storage and Disposal precautions : Store the dispenser away from sunlight in a dry and cool place. Fall Armyworm / FAW (Spodopetra Frugiperda) Pheromone lure The life cycle is completed in about 30 days during the summer, but 60 days in the spring and autumn, and 80 to 90 days during the winter. The number of generations occurring in an area varies with the appearance of the dispersing adults. The ability to diapauses is not present in this species.
