Winch Drive This range covers from 5.000 Nm to 400.000 Nm nominal torque. It comprises rotating case gearboxes designed to fit inside the winch drum. In order to ensure an isostatic distribution of the load on the winch, the gearbox is designed with a single supporting bearing. Planetary gear box works on planetary motion principle. Each stage of the planetary gear box consists of a central Sun Gear meshing with accurately positioned three Planet Gears around it which in turn mesh with the internal teeth of the outer Ring Gear.
