Pneumatic Temperature Controller is basically Pilot Burner shut off system. The pilot Burner helps to light the main burner. In case pilot Burner is shut, the main burner will not light and this will cause accumulation of Gas in the vessel. There can be backfiring when operator lights the main burner. To avoid this situation, pilot Burner shut off system with alarm and gas shut down valve is used. It Consists Of Pilot Burner with Gas Regulator Model-l 000/1 This is a standard burner which is used to light the main burner as per. This consists of mixer (B) and adjustable orifice (C).This is supplied with pilot. which houses the sensing element of low temperature Switch. The gas to the pilot burner is supplied by a W' regulator Model 400x . Low Temperature Switch Model 1100/5 This consists of mercury bulb with capillary tube. The mercury in the bulb expands with rise in temperature, which extends piston stem connected on the other side of mercury bulb. The stem is connected to the knob of micro valve through linkage. The air (output pressure) at the output port of the micro valve is Zero when the burner is OFF or Maximum when the burner is ON. The sensing element of low temperature switch is housed in thermo well welded on pilot for sensing temperature of pilot burner flame. Panel for pneumatic alarm and Auto/Manual Switch Model-1100/3 The Panel consists of following: (30) Auto/Manual Switch: During normal condition, switch is at AUTO. When pilot burner goes off, the horn starts blowing. The switch is shifted to MANUAL to avoid continuous blowing of horn.
