SKR 1501 is a medium viscosity, medium reactive, high molecular weight Orthophthalic based Fire retardant Unsaturated polyester resin, having self extinguishing properties with high resistance to propagate fire, low smoke volume.SKR 2501 is a medium viscosity, medium reactive, high molecular weight Isophthalic based Fire retardant Unsaturated polyester resin, having self extinguishing properties. This resin is specially formulated for excellent resistance to watercorrosive atmosphere and extremely good mechanical properties over conventional Ortho based FR resin. The resin is formulated to offer rapid cure, quick tack free surface cure, optimum heat deflection temperature, Excellent salthydrostatic atmospheric resistance, Improved glosscolour retention, Excellent fire resistancelow smoke combined with very low flammability.Fire Retardant Resins are formulated for excellent mechanical strength and good fire retardancy. Most suitable for Railway, BHEL, Defence, Automobile, Telecom tower parts manufacturing.

Talc is a very important functional filler in putty made of unsaturated polyester, e.g. for car and truck bodies. It is used here in proportions of upto 60% by weight. Thus, the quality of the putty ingredient “talc” has a significant effect on putty performance. The softness of pure talc leads to good sandability of polyester putties. It gives high-quality surface finish after sanding operations.The pot life is adversely affected by the content of soluble contaminants. Golcha Associated Talc exhibits the least content of soluble HCl and offers the longest pot life.
