The unbreakable reflex glass liquid level gauge is designed for safe & positive visual indication of liquid level in vessels under high pressure & temperature conditions. The liquid chamber is one piece moulded metal body covered by glass. The light striking the glass in the liquid portion is absorbed by the liquid where as the liquid striking the glass in the vapour portion is reflected making the liquid appear as black and the vapour portion appear as white. Reflex Valves are available in screwed type only which show level of the liquid line through a special glass tube. With this two gauge valves are also attached which control the flow in the reflex valve which enters form the receiver. Size Available :12”, 18”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 42”, 48” and 60”

KLINGER reflex glasses are provided with moulded prismatic grooves on the side in contact with the medium. As a result of the difference in refractive index, light rays entering the gauge from outside are reflected or absorbed. The light ray entering the steam or gas space strikes the groove face at an angle of 45o, being thereby refracted into the opposite groove face from which it is reflected back in direction of observation. The steam or gas space thereby appears silver-white. The liquid space behind the reflex glass appears black. This eliminates any possibility of errors in reading the liquid level. KLINGER reflex glasses are recommended for use within the limits shown in the pressure and temperature table.

LGF-Reflex Transparent Flat Glass Level Gauges are designed for safe & positive visual indication of liquid level in vessels under high pressure & temperature conditions Reflex Flat Glass has precision molded prismatic grooves cut on inner surface, which comes in contact with liquid. Light striking on glass portion covered by liquid is refracted (absorbed) making this portion appear BLACK, whereas glass portion covering vapour space reflects light, making it appear Silvery-White. Thus, a sharp clear line marks the liquid, eliminating all possibilities of errors in reading. Transparent Flat Glass is a clear glass for visual level indication & especially for interface services or where the liquid is dirty or viscous.
