Platinum Resistance Thermometer Platinum wire of about 2 ohms resistance, noninductively wound on a mica frame with copper leads, together with a pair of compensatory leads, all being connected to 4 mm socket terminals, for temperatures upto 150°C.

It consists of a thin platinum wire (2W) wound non inductively on an insulating frame enclosed in a glass tube along with a pair of compensating leads. The tube has a plastic cap fitted with two pairs of terminals connected to the platinum wire and compensating leads respectively.
