TMPL manufactures mechanical Rock Bolts of sizes 16 mm to 36 mm dia in various lengths, for use in mines, tunnels and embankments as rock anchors. Rock bolt is a stressed or tensioned reinforcement element consisting of a rod, mechanical or grouted anchorage and a plate and nut for stressing by providing torque to the nut or for retaining tension applied bydirect pull. It is also known as active rock anchor. Rock bolts are produced from TMT Fe SOO grade ribbed steel bar as per IS:8266-1986 specifications in various types as below. Expansion Shell Type : These bolts use expansion shells and plugs made of cast steel with left hand thread, firmly gripping the rock and the bolt forming anchorage. Resin/Cement Grouted Type : These anchors are machined conically at one end and are threaded on the other. The conically tapered end is pushed into the resin/cement cartridge placed at the bottom of the drill hole. Rock Bolts Spares and Accessories : Heavy Duty 2H Hex Nuts, Bevel Washers, Taper Washers, Hardened Plum Washers, Beanng Plates etc.

Rockbolts provide a conventional means of strengthening underground openings and stabilizing cut slopes in rock. It is therefore important to check that installed Rockbolts will not fail through over loading. The Instrumented Rockbolts comprise a hollow ribbed steel bar fitted with upto four internal extensometer rods. The extensometer rods are secured at anchor points to the body of the Rockbolt at predetermined positions. The extensometer rods extend from each anchor point to the measuring head. Any extensional and/or compressional force initiated by loading at locations along the length of the Rockbolt cause the displacement of adjacent rod extensometer anchor points. Consequently a change in the position of a particular anchor point causes a movement of the attatched extensometer rod which move independently of the other anchor points. Product Introduction Prestressed threaded bar (or PT bars) are high-strength, high-precision, straight-line steel bars with external threads on the entire steel bar. The steel bar can be screwed onto the connector with internal threads at any section or screwed with a threaded nut with internal threads for anchoring. The utility model has the advantages of simple connection and anchorage, strong adhesion, safe and reliable tension and anchorage and the like, and is a novel material for developing prestressed concrete component.
