The adhesive dries to a tough, flexible, plastic film with good resistance to water and heat. Areas of Application : For joining any two surfaces. For fast drying and urgent work process. Application Methods : Surfaces to be bonded should be free from oil, grease. and dust and dilly. Should be dry and properly leveled. For best results, roughen the surfaces to be bonded. Stir content of cohtainer before use. Apply even coats Of OMBOND Heat Resistance Rubber Adhesive oii non-porous surface for e.g. apply first on porous surface like plywood. MDF, particle board. Allow adhesive to dry, and bring both the surfaces in contact together. stoke proper alignment and start pressing from one side by using wet squeezed cloth to avoid bubbles, and ensuring uniform contact and no air interruption between both the surfaces. This adhesive is versatile and suitable for most of the substrates including rubber, leather, wood, rexin, canvas, and foams. This adhesive is also suitable for adhering similar and dissimilar substrates to achieve strong bonds. Long open time and high coverage can be achieved if used at appropriate environmental and processing conditions. Application method a. Apply adhesive on both the substrates with the help of brush or appropriate machine. B. Apply second coat (if required) after 5-10 minutes of first coat. C. Allow to evaporate the solvent for 5-10 minutes before bonding. Optimum bond strength can be achieved if open time is not more than 30 minutes. Open time is subjective and depends on environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and foreign particles in air. D. Immediately after bonding the substrates, apply adequate pressure on the component to achieve strong adhesion. E. In order to achieve optimum strength, allow components to store for at least 24 hours at ambient conditions. Precautions a. Polygrip plus 909 contain highly volatile and flammable solvents, therefore, appropriate care must be taken for ventilation during application. B. Product must not be exposed to naked flame and very hot objects.
