There is no operator contact with the process fluid. High quality wedge wire stainless steel elements are highly effective in removing contaminant particles as small as 10 micron (µm). The filter is available for either manual or fully automatic electric or pneumatic operation. The range of optional control devices makes it particularly suitable for continuous processes and for service with high contamination levels. The self-cleaning pre-filter with back-wash, performs all features of hydra self-cleaning filters with exclusive filter cartridges: - rah stainless steel net cartridge at 90 micron. - rlh plastic net cartridge at 90 micron. - rsh pleated plastic net cartridge at 50 micron. The cartridges for second and third stage are available from the wide range of 10" atlas filtri cartridges. Inout connections are available at 12", 34", 1" with brass or plastic bsp threads, or with npt plastic threads at 34", 1". Auto models provided with fully automatic self-cleaning pre-filter are available on demand. The housings are provided with filter-fit, a special centering device for sx cartridges. All models are provided with the drain funnel to prevent from contamination by back-flow, in compliance with uni en 1717-112002. Self cleaning (auto backwash) filters combine the advantages of high quality filtration from different water Sources (Sewage, Reservoirs, River, etc.) with self cleaning features, where the flow is uninterrupted during the filtration process. The filters are designed for use in a wide range of industrial, municipal and irrigation applications.The main element is made of stainless steel with a large filtration open area for water flow in order to Withstand high dirt load and pressure. Cleaning of the screen is performed once the pressure loss across the filter has reached the present value (up to 0.5 kg/cm2) The filter is equipped with a coarse screen that protects the finer screen from stones and larger particles. The flushing valve opens and pressure is released from the hydraulic piston, then water flows outside through the flushing valve. Pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the dirt collector is significantly lowered. The dirt collector nozzles movement and rotation cleans the screen's entire internal surface. The flushing cycle takes 10 seconds. The flushing valve closes at the end of the cycle and the filter is clean. During the cleaning cycle, the filtration process Remains uninterrupted.
