When the filter starts to choke the pressure drop across the strainer increase. onece the pressure drop reaches a certain point, the motor may be switched on and the drain valve at the bottom may be opened. The motor operates the scrubber brush, which cleans the filter inner side from debris. The debris collects as the bottom the strainer and is fleshed not through the drain valve. The motor can be switched off once the filter is cleaned and the drain valve can be closed.
