However, where weight is the main criteria full range of motors can be supplied in M.S. sheet metal fabricated body or in Aluminum body also. Mountings : Foot mounted, Flange mounted or combination of both. Bearings & Lubrication : All the motors are supplied with C3 clearance ball bearings. Bearing housings are so designed that grease is retained in housing and are adequately protected against penetration of dust, dirt and damp. All bearings are fully charged with lithium base grease at the time of assembly and no further lubrication is required for two years normal running. However, motors are also available with pre lubricated sealed bearings. Electronic Starting Switch : The specially designed terminal plate molded with electronic starting switch is incorporated in all our single phase motors. This electronic starting switch constantly monitors voltage, current and speed of the motor. It also monitors load condition. Winding Protection : Embedded of PTC thermistors in the stator windings is feasible on request. Running : The careful construction and special design ensure quiet running of the motor. TEFC Squirrel cage induction HV Motors comply with the requirements of IEC 34-1, the relevant parts of BS4999 and BS5000, IS:325 & other relevant Indian standards. They are designed for continuous duty corresponding to Duty Type S1 of IEC 34-1 and BS4999, part 101 section 3, with a temperature rise by resistance not exceeding 80K in a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C. The standard rated outputs are taken from the R40 series of preferred numbers in accordance with the requirements of clause 7 of BS4999 Part 101 and Part 1 of IEC 34-1. For enquiries with intermediate ratings the next highest preferred rating will be offered and performance data will be quoted accordingly

All standard motors are capable of service factor 1.1 at rated voltage & frequency / or continuous duty. Rotors are of squirrel cage, aluminum die cast & are dynamically balanced with a half key to keep the vibration levels low. Motors with very low vibration level requirement for machine tool application can be given on request. Core material is low loss high grade silicon steel. All motors can withstand momentary overload of 1.6 times of rated torque, for 15 seconds without stalling. All standard motors are having deep groove radial ball bearings '(Single row)'. Deep groove ball bearings are capable of taking axial loads in both the direction in addition to the radial loads at high speed. Oil seals are provided to ensure IP - 55 protections. The rubbing action on sealing surface prevents penetration of solid contaminants /moisture into the motor. The rubbing surfaces are with appropriate surface finish. Hence rise in temperature is minimum. Noise levels of the motors are maintained as per specification in IS : 12065. Motors are tested for vibration level of normal class as per IS : 12075. Precision levels of vibration can also be given on request. Motors can withstand for starting up time 5 to 7 seconds for two starts from cold condition. For any other condition customer shall specify GD2 speed, period of acceleration. Duty cycle, speed torque curve of driven equipment & method of starting.
