telerrettes are high effiicient packings which are widely used in wet scrubbers , absorption column and gas strippers. These packings provides more surface area with higher liquid surface available for the gas and liquid phase. These packings are non wetting and with high mass transfers, provides high absorption efficiency in the columns. Since the telerrettes are in helix shape there is no channeling in the liquid phase and thus redistributors are not necessary in the columns. These are all used in Gas absorption in Scrubbers Gas Stripppers Liquid particles in columns with demister Pads Mass Transfer in cooling towers etc.,
