This Lab is the First lab in India with PRIVATE (SLEEN)-INSTITUTIONAL (AFMEC) partnership with certification, accreditation and approval for ISO 17025 (NABL), BIS, ISO 17020, ISO 9001, SATRA-UK, TSC-Hong Kong. 

Sampling includes details like a product/style code or a reference number, color specifications, kind of fabric, composition, description, quantity, and details of embroidery, buttons, zippers, or any other sort of accessories used. The journey of seeing one's designs from sketch to fabric take its real shape can be strenuous. A sample of a garment can either make or break the future of getting orders from buyers. A good quality sample can invite more business and buyers to manufacture garments. RBV is readily available to create those first samples for you. Following are the Testing Parameters: BREAKING LOAD:- The maximum force in Newton required to break the fabric. Test Method:- IS 1969 – 2009. ELONGATION:- The difference between the length of a stretched specimen at breaking load and its initial length usually expressed as a percentage of the latter. Test Method:- IS 1969 – 2009. TEAR RESISTANCE:- The force in Newton required to tear a specimen. Test Method: IS 6489 – 1993. BURSTING STRENGTH: – The maximum fluid pressure is applied to a circular specimen for distending it to rupture. Test Method: IS 1966 – 1975. FLAMMABILITY:- The characteristics of a material which pertain to its relative ease of ignition & relative ability to sustain combustion. Test Method: IS 11871 – 1986. MASS PER UNIT AREA:- It can be defined as the mass in gram of one square metre of fabric. Test Method: IS 1964 – 2001. THREADS COUNT:- It can be defined as the number of threads in per unit length of fabric. Test Method: IS 1963 – 1981.

The Textile materials used in various industries like Geo textile, Agro textile, Protective textile, Construction textile etc. Textile materials though generally used for our day to day requirement which may not required high level of testing but when it goes to very important technical requirement such as Parachute, Threads & Tapes (e.g. Nylon), tyre cords, Pond liners, Jutes & Ropes, Filling of explosive charges in textile bags, Bandoliers for filling the cartridges for defence use which requires high mechanical strength. Their quality check for suitability considering the end use requirement is necessary.
