Exin produces Toroidal Cores in various dimensions with made to order Customer specification according to IS STANDARDS and equivalent International standards. The Strip Wound Cores or Toroidal Cores are manufactured from coils of CRGO electrical steel to yield closely controlled electro-magnetic characteristics and dimensional accuracy. The requirements are so different that we have no standard types and manufacture according to client requirement.However in order to get shorter delivery time and to avoid tool cost, you can find Exin standard widths & Exin Standard mandrels. The cores are stress-relief annealed in an inert atmosphere to restore the magnetic properties. and then tested for magnetic properties. Special care is taken in handling and packing in order to avoid damage to the Toroidal Cores. Winding : These slit coils of CRGO are wound on fully automatic winding machine as per the dimension given by our customer Spot Welding : On winding the CRGO Toroidal Cores to the exact size, the start and finished ends of the core are spot welded on spot welding machine Stress Relief Annealing : During the winding process of CRGO serves stress are included in the gums of the raw material. These stresses are relieved in our specially designed annealing furnace equipped with an automatic temperature controller, circulating fan and inner atmosphere. The annealing cycle (at 780-820 C) improperly controlled to get a uniform and best annealing result. Testing : Since the CRGO electrical properties of cores are very critical, every core is tested on a specially designed test bench. The ampere-turns (magnetization current) are measured on every core to ensure that they are within the specified limits. Painting : After testing, the cores are painted with paint. Impregnation (If required) / Varnished to prevent the CRGO. Toroidal Cores from corrosion & to identify grade, as we do select paint grade wise.
