Trichoderma viride is a fungus and a biofungicide.   It is used for seed and soil treatment for suppression of various diseases caused by fungal pathogens.   The fungicidal activity makes T. viride useful as a biological control against plant pathogenic fungi. It has been shown to provide protection against such pathogens as Rhizoctonia, Pythium and even Armillaria.It is found naturally in soil and is effective as a seed dressing in the control of seed and soil-borne diseases including Rhizoctonia solani, Macrophomina phaseolina and Fusarium species. When it is applied at the same time as the seed, it colonizes the seed surface and kills not only the pathogens present on the cuticle, but also provides protection against soil-borne pathogens.

Trichoderma viride is an antagonistic fungal organism present in the soil and is highly effective for the control of seed and soil borne diseases of a. majority of economically important crops, especially pulses and oil seeds.This bio control agent when applied along with seed, colonizes the seed and multiplies on its surface. TH DERMA   Composition:    Trichoderma Harzianum – 2 x 106 CFU / Gm    Indications :    Control Fungal diseases like Fruit rot caused by Botrytis spp and other fungal pathogens attacking the crops.      TH-DERMA effectively controls most of the economically important fungal diseases like Fruit rot caused by Botrytis spp. Effectively controls nematodes like Root knot nematodes and Remiform nematodes.      Method of Application :    1.
