Our Twin Tube MW IR Heater is made up of 8-shape high-purity clear quartz twin tube, with each tube having Ni-Chrome heating coil that runs in U Shape in the tube. Features Heating up and cooling down time is approximately 50 secs. Available with gold reflector and without reflector. The outer rear side of the tube of the reflector has the gold coating. Heat loss from backside is prevented by the reflector, thereby power is saved. Results in making surrounding work area cooler. Increases the efficiency and directionality of the heater. IR wavelengths are between 760nm (0.76µ) and 1m and can be further divided into short wave infrared, medium wave infrared and long wave infrared. Shortwave radiation penetrates more and ensures uniform heating. Medium Wave Infrared (Quartz) Heaters consist of a helically wound resistance coil housed in a pure vitreous silica fused quartz tube. The Quartz tubing is terminated with specially designed insulating caps, which are securely fastened to the quartz tube with high temperature cement providing excellent support to the power connecting termination. Quartz Heaters are designed to be used in a horizontal position only. Quartz Heaters are available in various diameters like 8,10,12,15,19 mm & length 300 to 1500 mm.
