These are structured to withstand the tempreture and vacuum cycles, while maintaining the process requirements. The autoclaves can have horizontal or Vertical Orientation. Door Operation Manual (for smaller sizes), winch driven or Hydraulically Operated door systems are available. Manual as well as hydraulic clamping can be provided. Various safety interlocks can also be provided as required Heating System: For medium and large autoclaves, it is customary to employ radiators with thermic fluid heating. Certain customers may have factory premises with standardised thermic fluid heating facility. In such cases, the autoclave heating system can be adopted to the same. We normally provide tube and shell constructed, indirect type (Electrical heaters placed in protection tubes), gentle heating exchangers. Division of power in groups with selective thermostatic controls for larger capacities is a standard feature. Of Course, more sophisticated controlling systems such as TIC, Band width PID controllers etc. can be offered. For smaller sizes of Autoclaves, direct heating can also be provided although anu of the above options are available.

For evaporating water into steam latent heat of water is to be supplied.when transformer put in to the autoclave for drying heat energy is transferred to transformer via convection and radiation. Compared to convection energy transfer by radiation is very low. During vacuum drying as air is sucked out there will not be any transfer of heat by convection. This necessitates heating by hot air of sufficient duration,before vacuum drying in the autoclave vessel by externally either by thermic fluid heating systemelectric heating systemsteam heating by means of radiator coils inside autoclave or limpets welded outside the autoclave..

The cylinder is evacuated through a port and the piston is lowered to close the port immediately an injection valve is opened to fill the cylinder with an impregnating substance. When the injection valve is shut the piston slowly presses the impregnant out through the neck of the condenser casing. The pressure is increased till the ejection valve opens. A blast of gas cleans the cylinder to remove any remaining impregnant.
