The Unit is offered complete with MS/FRP, MS/RL, MS/PC, SS-304 main scrubber shell, bottom plate, packing rings, ring retaining grill, overflow water distributor at top, conical diffuser outlet, inlet flange, overflow drain connection, pump inlet & outlet flanged connections, water level gauge, fill connection, drain connection etc. A centrifugal water pump of CI/GM, PP, SS-304 construction is offered with motor, for circulation of reacted solution. The piping if provided is duty fitted with valves, pressure gauge & T- Connections at inlet & outlet. A centrifugal dreaft fan normally before scrubber is provided for suction of fumes/gases to discharging thro' the scrubber column. The contruction of fan is MS/FRP, MS/RL, MS/PC or SS-304 configuration.

The Wet Air Scrubber is one specific type of air scrubber which has spray chambers which combine the capture techniques of cyclones and spray towers. The gas streams enter into the chamber tangentially at high speeds. The high speeds will induce a cyclonic action, and the centrifugal force from this promotes droplet separation, allowing the use of a smaller droplet size which increases collection efficiency. Ventures Scrubbers: A venture is a tube with a narrow throat that increases the velocity and lowers the pressure of the liquid passing through it. In venture scrubbers the inlet for the dust filled air stream is shaped like a venture. When dusty air enters it, the speed of the air stream is increased to 15000-20000 feet / minute. By adding 4-6 gallons of water pr 1000 CFM of cleaned air at the venture throat, dust is trapped in slurry to form very fine droplets. The high air velocity helps fine dust particles to be collected efficiently. After dust is captured by the water and formed into slurry, mist is eliminated from clean air stream by mist eliminator. Slurry is directed to the scrubber outlet.  It is necessary to keep the air stream close to saturation point or in a 'humidified' state to prevent dust from escaping as slurry evaporates. This could be a problem since liberated air normally does not return to the work environment.
